VibeFlash (“the App”) is a flashlight utility app developed by Shanti Barua (“the Developer”, “we”, “us”). This privacy policy explains what data the App accesses and how it is handled.

The Multi-Device feature lets you sync a small group of nearby iPhones (up to 7 devices) for a coordinated light show. It uses Apple’s Multipeer Connectivity framework via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct. This communication is:

Select “Beat Sync” mode, tap the torch button, then play music near your iPhone. The flashlight will flash in sync with the beat. Make sure to allow microphone access when prompted.
Tap the Wi-Fi icon in the top right. On one device, tap “Host Session”. On other devices (up to 7), tap “Join Session”. All devices will sync their flashlights automatically via Bluetooth/Wi-Fi — no internet needed. Make sure all devices are nearby.
Make sure no other app is using the camera or flashlight. Close the Camera app if it’s open, then try again. Note: the iPhone Simulator does not have a flashlight — test on a real device.
Check that microphone permission is granted in Settings > VibeFlash > Microphone. Play music at a reasonable volume near the device. Beat detection works best with music that has a clear, strong rhythm.
Tips are purely optional donations to support the developer — they don’t unlock any features because every feature is already 100% free! Thank you for your generosity. If you need a refund, contact Apple Support through your purchase receipt email.
Yes! Every feature in VibeFlash is completely free with no ads. The tip jar is entirely optional and just a way to support an indie developer.
